Happy first day of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month everyone!! Although I feel every month is heritage month for our family, it’s important to have this dedicated month in the United States where we get to be louder and prouder as a community and highlight all the amazing achievements, influence, and great work done by the AAPI community. Joining our celebrations, Cartoon Network has released a digital series “Drawn To” that highlights the diverse cultures across our Asian American and Pacific Islander family.
Here’s the launch video that was released today. See anyone you recognize?? 🙂
The Drawn To digital series will run all month and will continue to show kids expressing their culture through family and food. You may have noticed that our very own Austin and Callie (@TheHustlingKids) are featured in this digital series as well and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
As if you needed another reason to tune in, the series are narrated by Michaela Dietz, the voice of Amethyst on Steven Universe!
If you would like to follow this digital series, the videos will appear on Cartoon Network’s app and across all their social platforms shown below.
As a modern Asian-American family, it’s important that we raise our two children to be proud of who they are and where they come from. Thank you again to Cartoon Network for celebrating the Asian American Pacific Islander community with our family and to families everywhere!
Thank you for stopping by and feel free to follow us below for more family fun and positive vibes! Happy Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month everyone!!
Cheers,
Rosie aka The Hustling Mama
