So if you’ve been following me for a while then it should be no surprise to you that I’ve gone 7 years without taking a professional family photo. Because of my frugalness, I started taking my own DIY family portraits. It now lives under the Instagram hashtag series: #TheHustlingMamaFamilyPortraits and is a creative way for me to capture and share major family milestones.
That being said, you bet I jumped at the chance of a free photography session with Annie Vovan! Annie was so sweet and was gifting her photographer services to families for Father’s Day! She basically transformed the shopping cart return section (I know, right???) in front of Mother’s Market into a mini-backdrop oasis. It was quite impressive! If you live in SoCal and you haven’t heard of Annie, I recommend you check her out on Instagram at @Annievovan. She’s not only a great photographer, but one heck of a mompreneur consultant helping mamas find their fire again and build businesses out of them! #momboss
And now this is where Annie is going to KILL ME! I’m going to show you the BLOOPERS from our family photo session because I find them more entertaining and reflective of our perfectly imperfect family! This in no way means I didn’t love the ones that came out “normal”, but the blooper photos allow you to see more of our family and our personalities. This includes the crazy, fun, and even awkward moments that went down behind the scenes that I never want to forget. I basically want to come across these photos when I’m old and grey and say, “Yup, we were a crazy young family back then!”
Guess I should show you the nice one too then, huh? Don’t worry, these will all be printed and framed somewhere in our home! Good times and who knows, we may just do another photography session in our future!
Have a great week everyone!
Cheers,
Rosie
