Happy first week of summer!!! As the weather heats up, it’s important to think of ways to cool down. Lucky for you the junior chefs at TADA! COOKING have partnered up with I Love Ice Cream Cakes for an easy and fun summer dessert recipe – and without help from the oven!
With their signature Carvel ice cream cake, I Love Ice Cream Cakes challenged our junior chefs to decorate their delicious, hassle-free, ready-to-eat dessert. We’re all for baking, but if you can skip all that and go straight to decorating, why wouldn’t you?! TADA! COOKING gladly accepted this challenge. With a quick trip to our local grocery store, Chef Austin and Sous Chef Callie managed to pick up everything they needed for the ultimate summer-themed cake.
The ingredients are fairly simple and so is the assembling. As much as my kitchen gets destroyed, my kids love to be hands-on in with their kitchen creations. Luckily this summer treat avoids that and instead encourages imagination and creativity! Can you already guess what we’ll be doing with the ingredients??
